  • JOE KUFFNER

    Joe Kuffner grew up a mile away from University of Portland, spending countless hours of his youth watching UP soccer games. He has a keen sense of the historical importance of the story and has many personal connections to the 2005 team. His first documentary, Within Reach: The Fight to Finish Cancer, was nominated for a 2024 regional Emmy.

  • SARAH PEREZ

    Sarah is a filmmaker with experience in documentary, narrative, and commercial filmmaking. She is passionate about capturing expressive, empowering stories that amplify underrepresented voices.

  • ZACH PUTNAM

    Zach Putnam is an award-winning filmmaker and producer with over twenty years of experience telling impactful stories that move people. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Portland where he teaches Multimedia Storytelling.

  • CAITLIN CROWLEY

    Caitlin Crowley is a queer storyteller and former goalie from South Florida, now based in Portland, OR. She has published academic works regarding hate crime legislation as well as research relating to access to mental health services in underserved communities. She has spent much of her post-grad life working to bring the stories of everyday people to life in extraordinary ways.

  • JACKIE WEISSMAN

    Jackie received her MFA in film and video production from Columbia College-Chicago, and has spent the last 25 years as a media producer, director, editor, and educator in Portland, OR. Her documentary, Rock N Roll Mamas has shown to sold-out audiences around the world. Her award winning film, The Gorilla and the Piker, was featured on WNET, Channel 13 in New York, as a part of its Reel New York series. Jackie is committed to helping birth unheard stories into the world, and is proud to be part of a global documentary community.

  • JEN TATE

    After studying Creative Writing and Improvisation at Stanford University, Jen went on to write for CNET & Network for Good (a joint venture of AOL, Cisco and Yahoo!). She then studied Media & Education at San Francisco State, and worked for Sesame Street. In the past decade, she has served as Executive Director of the Portland Area Theatre Alliance, Producer of Oregon Documentary Camp, (now called Doc Camp) and Steward of her own documentary short, Karaoke People.
